Macqueen Hotel Search — Connector Documentation

Macqueen Hotel Search for Claude

Search live hotel availability and prices across the Middle East and the Gulf — right inside your Claude conversation. Get real, bookable results with nightly and total prices, star ratings, guest reviews, amenities, and photos.

No account needed. No login. Just ask.

What it does

How to use it

Just ask Claude naturally. It will search and show you interactive result cards you can sort and filter. Open any hotel for full details without leaving the conversation.

Example prompts

1. Basic search

Find me a hotel in Dubai for September 15–18, 2 adults

Claude searches available hotels in Dubai for your dates and shows interactive cards with prices, star ratings, and guest review scores. Sort by price or rating, filter for free cancellation, then open any hotel for photos and amenities.

2. Filtered search with budget

Show me 4-star hotels in Riyadh under 800 SAR per night for next weekend, 2 adults and 2 kids ages 4 and 9

Claude filters by star rating and budget, prices in SAR, and factors in the children's ages (which affect room pricing). Results show the total price for the full stay, not just per night.

3. Arabic search

ابحث لي عن فندق ٥ نجوم في جدة من ١٥ إلى ١٨ سبتمبر، شخصين

Claude searches in Arabic and returns everything — hotel names, descriptions, amenities, deal terms — in Arabic with right-to-left layout. Prices default to SAR unless you specify otherwise.

4. Hotel details follow-up

What amenities and photos does the Paramount Hotel Dubai have?

After a search, ask about any hotel by name. Claude pulls the full detail view: photo gallery, amenity list grouped by category, plain-text description, exact location on a map, and the current best deal for your dates.

5. Compare two cities

Compare the cheapest 4-star hotel in Dubai with the cheapest in Riyadh for September 15–18

Claude runs one search per city and compares the results for you. Each city is a separate search, so you get a full set of cards for each.

Supported destinations

Business/Web to confirm before publishing. The connector is not limited to a fixed city list — it searches by coordinates, so coverage is whatever is in Macqueen's hotel inventory for that area. Please replace this section with the regions Macqueen actually wants to advertise, rather than listing cities we have not verified have inventory. A safe generic version:

Ask for any city or landmark and Macqueen will search hotels in that area. Coverage is strongest across the Gulf and the wider Middle East.

Pricing currencies

Prices default to SAR. Ask for another currency (for example AED, USD, or EGP) and results are returned in it.

Note: the connector passes the requested ISO 4217 currency straight through to the pricing API; there is no fixed allowlist in the connector itself. Business should confirm which currencies the pricing API reliably supports before advertising a specific list here.

Privacy

The connector receives only your search parameters — destination and coordinates, dates, guests and children's ages, currency, language, and your nationality or country of residence where you have stated it (it affects pricing and regional deals). It never receives your conversation, your Claude account, or any identity information. Nothing is written to disk. See our privacy policy.

For developers

The Macqueen connector is a remote MCP server at https://mcp.macqueen.co/mcp using the Streamable HTTP transport.

Two tools are available to the assistant:

ToolDescription
search_hotelsSearch live availability and prices by destination, dates, and guests
hotel_detailsGet full details (photos, amenities, description, deal terms) for specific hotels

Two further tools (widget_hotel_details, get_last_search) are internal widget-support tools. They are marked app-only, so they are hidden from the assistant's tool list and are callable only by the result widget through the host.

All tools are read-only. No authentication is required — hotel search is public read-only data.
